Justin Bieber “My World” Tour (Coverage)
The time has come that everyone has been anxiously waiting for, it’s finally here! Vita kicked off her first day with Justin Bieber on July 28th as his opening act on the highly anticipated (& mostly sold out) “My World” tour across America. She will be touring for over a month along with other acts Sean Kingston, Jessica Jarrell, Iyaz and more.
Watch the video above of Vita’s JustinTV live chat just before she heads to soundcheck and special guest JUSTIN BIEBER himself pays a visit to her dressing room, unfortunately they didn’t adjust the camera to point in the direction he was but you can hear their brief first time conversation.

Vita Chambers @ Lilith Fair 2010 (Coverage)
Lilith Fair is one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world, over the recent years raising over $10 million dollars for national and local charities – while being a celebration and tribute for women in music. Vita Chambers was fortunate enough to be added on this year’s lineup for four dates, from Chicago, Minneapolis, Indianapolis to Detroit before heading out to be the opening act of pop superstar Justin Bieber’s “My World” tour.

“Moving on to the ABC Stage, rising pop sensation, the beautiful Vita Chambers kept the energy level at a high with her exuberant stage persona and engaging presence. While mostly covering songs of big name artists such as Lady GaGa, Adam Lambert, the late Michael Jackson and Pink, she managed to throw in her own smashing hit single “Like Boom.” Keep an eye on this artist because I predict her to go very far in the business.”
“Ok – I’ll admit, she was new to me. Actually, I heard one song of hers before but thought she was a flash in the pan. Dead wrong. You need to get to know Vita Chambers. First thing I thought was that she sounded almost EXACTLY like a young Gwen Stefani – circa Tragic Kingdom. And those are big shoes to fill. Also- her stage presence??? AWESOME. I hate to say this but I love Hayley Williams from Paramore and think she was born to be on stage… but Vita? Better than Hayley. No question.”
Vita Chambers. The 17-year-old New Yorker originally from the island of Barbados had infectiously spunky energy as she played propulsive rock like a polite Avril Lavigne. Her cover of No Doubt’s “I’m Just a Girl” was a perfect choice for the setting. Even though maybe only 500 people were watching her, Vita acted like she was playing to a full arena. (Grade: B)
Vita Chambers, who had more energy than any other performer all day, kicked off the action on the smaller stages. Her Disney channel-esque pop melodies and catchy lyrics definitely attracted youthful fans (who, after all, didn’t have other obligations on a Tuesday afternoon). It comes as no surprise that Chambers will open up for teen sensation Justin Bieber on his summer tour, which happens to stop in Indianapolis next month.

Vita Chambers to appear on Nick Cannon’s “Night Life” (TeenNick)

SRP Records Family Viral Video
SRP Records, the label formed by the powerhouse Grammy nominated writing/production team of Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, are releasing a series of mini viral films. SRP are responsible for discovering and signing Rihanna, Shontelle, Vita Chambers and Hal Linton among others. As a writing/production team they have sold more than 70 million records, penning hits for artist such as Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera and Shakira among others.
The first video which premiered on July 26, 2010, compromises of exclusive never before seen footage of Rihanna – taken from the archives, including up to the day she auditioned and signed with Island DefJam. Bizarre Video Wins “Like Boom” Contest
As most of you might know, Vita recently held a contest hosted by JustJared asking fans and new ones alike to cover her pop rock hit “Like Boom” and upload a video. The best video was granted $1000 and more.
Sifting through the submissions was kind of trippy. Watching things like girls lipsynching in their room with few clothes, girls enacting every single lyric literally, or creepy ones of guys stalking each other.
The winner, announced yesterday, was very bizarre, awesome and totally deserving. Her name is Christine McClure, and she submitted one of few videos that didn’t blast the real song. Instead, Christine spoke the lyrics herself in various voices: Dracula, Yoda, the Queen of England and more. In the video, Christine transformed into the characters using superimposed faces and backgrounds. The real Christine doesn’t come in until the end.
Vita would like to thank everyone who participated in the contest and hopes to have another fun one sometime again! “Even pop stars are clumsy, just ask Vita Chambers, the Barbados singer about to tour for Lillith Fair this summer. “If you come to one of my shows you will see me trip, unplug a microphone or something funny like that,” Chambers said with a laugh in a phone interview. Despite her onstage mishaps, we’re sure she’s being modest about her shows — especially since she’s also touring with Justin Bieber this fall. “I opened for him at Pop-Con and I felt like I lost my hearing when he came on stage,” she revealed, “I can’t even begin to describe it. It was crazy!”
Vita Chambers’ Bieber fever experiences will increase to new heights on July 28, 2010 in Kansas City, MO, where the tour begins. “I’m so excited and I feel so blessed,” Chambers gushed. “My band and I are counting down the days. It’s been bliss since the day we found out.” To the public, Chambers’ career has been filled with fun, “bliss” and pink ballons like the ones from her “Like Boom” music video, however, the teen star’s rising success comes with a lot of hard work and some sacrifices.
